Kim Nelson
Kim Nelson attended the Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Montana, and then launched her freelance career in Fort Collins, Colorado. Her photographic interests lie mainly in weddings, portraits and photojournalism. She also shoots fine art images for calendars and Polaroid Emulsion Transfers.
Kim's images can be found at the Canyon Spirit Gallery in Fort Collins and have hung in art galleries in Montana, Colorado Springs, and New York City. Her photojournalism has been published in the Colorado Springs Independent, Rocky Mountain Bullhorn and various non-profit publications. Each year she publishes a photo calendar accompanied by poetry written by her mother, W. Z. Nelson.
She currently lives in Fort Collins
with her husband, Roland, her children,
Adelaide and Theo, and their dog, Roxy.
