The Artists:
W Z Nelson and Kim Nelson are a mother-daughter team of artists who have collaborated on many projects throughout their lives. W Z Nelson is a poet, playwright and novelist who lives on Cape Cod, MA. Her poems have been published in Bitterroot Magazine, The Sandscript, The Cape Cod News and her plays have been produced in New York City and Massachusetts. Her novel, Hurricane Summer, was published in 2002. She lives in Barnstable with her husband, Cy, and their dog, Stella, and has three grown daughters, Christine, Kim and Laurie.
Kim Nelson is currently a wedding and portrait photographer in Fort Collins, CO, with side interests in fine art photography and photojournalism. Kim’s images can be found at the Canyon Spirit Gallery in Fort Collins and have hung in art galleries in Colorado Springs, Montana and New York City. Her photojournalism has been published in the Colorado Springs Independent, Rocky Mountain Bullhorn and various non-profit publications. Her artwork has also graced book covers and calendars. She currently lives in Fort Collins, CO with her husband, Roland, and their daughter, Adelaide. |
